Biological Incidents Awareness: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) provides a brief overview of the novel Coronavirus, COVID-19, including specific information about symptoms, transmission, personal protective measures, and scene control.
This awareness-level course will prepare participants to recognize a potential COVID-19 infection, to know how to protect themselves during response, and to identify outside factors, including scene control and public messaging, which will require their attention.
It is a half-day course designed to be taught by a combination of medical or public health personnel and emergency responders. The course addresses the following topics:

- Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
- Prevention and Universal Precaution
- Personal Protection
- Self-Decontamination
- Containment and Scene Control
