To Schedule a Class

There are two ways to schedule a class offered by the NCBRT: standard scheduling or Excess Delivery Acquisition Program (EDAP) scheduling. Once scheduled, the NCBRT courses are delivered at your agency’s training facility, and the NCBRT provides the instructors/experts and the training materials.

Standard Scheduling

For states whose allotment of training has not been met, use the standard scheduling process. The standard scheduling process involves contacting either the training coordinator at your State Administrative Agency or the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Centralized Scheduling and Information Desk at (800) 368-6498. For other inquiries about NCBRT’s DHS certified courses, contact Deyvon Cooper, Training Manager, at (225) 578-6971. Cost is typically covered through a cooperative agreement with DHS, meaning no charge to the host facility.

Excess Delivery Acquisition Program (EDAP) Scheduling

For states whose training allotment has been exceeded or when the NCBRT has met its deliverable, the Excess Delivery Acquisition Program applies. Price will be compliant with EDAP and the price list is available from the NCBRT. To schedule a course using EDAP or to gather more information about other NCBRT courses, contact Alise Hagan, Research, Analysis, and Marketing Assistant Manager, at (225) 578-3310, or Jill Maraist, Assistant Director (interim), Research and Development, at (225) 578-4669.
